Paul V. Ash
Paul Ash has been a member of the firm since its inception in 1995. He began his 30 year legal career under the mentorship of firm founder, Robert T. Hanger in 1990. Mr. Ash has tried dozens of jury cases to verdict along with a multitude of binding arbitrations, bench trials and mediations. His practice encompasses the defense of complex litigation including catastrophic injury and death cases, products liability matters, mass torts, toxic torts and construction defect litigation in the public and private sector. He has also argued many cases to the various Courts of Appeal in California.
Mr. Ash’s practice includes pre-litigation case handling from the investigation of the immediate aftermath of an accident, through litigation, up to and including trial and appeal. In addition to handling early pre-litigation investigation, he is often retained for trial late in the litigation by clients who trust his level headed and commonsense approach to resolution and trial. Mr. Ash is well respected for his ability and integrity by both sides of the bar. He has authored legal commentary in the area of products and premises liability and has also served as a Court appointed voluntary settlement conference officer with the Los Angeles Superior Court VSC program and volunteers his time extensively in the community.
