Whitney L. Bost
Whitney L. Bost is a partner with the firm whose practice focus is civil litigation, primarily in the area of real property matters, including landlord-tenant/ habitability, housing discrimination, premises liability and real estate disputes. Ms. Bost is also experienced in appellate work and defending Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation (“SLAPP”) suits. She practices in both state and federal court.
Notable results:
Obtained judgments for clients in multiple actions upon granting of Anti-SLAPP Motions, on claims of defamation, malicious prosecution and other torts, thereby protecting clients’ free speech and petition rights.
Secured summary judgment for client on claims of fraud in connection with sale of real property.
Prevailed on motion for judgment on the pleadings in a habitability action resulting in judgment for client
